一、接处警情况：

2012年5月3日8时15分，刘永志打110报案称：5天前与其母亲杨春莲（女，56岁，北京市房山区佛子庄乡陈家坟村人，无病史）打电话联系不上。今日刚刚回到家中发现他母亲在北京市房山区大安山乡元港村家中死亡。根据此情况，我队侦查员立即与技术、法医赶赴现场开展工作。

二、死者情况

杨春莲，女，56岁，身份号码：，户籍地：北京市房山区佛子庄乡陈家坟村，现住址：北京市房山区大安山乡元港村。杨春莲于1974年到大安山煤矿工作，2004年左右退休，一直居住在北京市房山区佛子庄乡陈家坟村。2012年4月26日搬家到北京市房山区大安山乡元港村居住。

三、调查访问情况

经访问死者杨春莲的两个儿子刘永水、刘永志，二人反映：

2012年4月26日7时许，刘永水及其妻子帮助杨春莲从北京市房山区佛子庄乡陈家坟村搬家到北京市房山区大安山乡元港村。当时刘为民外出看病，没有帮助搬家。

当日下午2时左右，刘为民回到北京市房山区大安山乡元港村家中。

4时30分许，刘永水及其妻子乘坐公交末班车回家。

27日上午，刘永水给杨春莲打电话，手机关机。后给刘为民打电话，接通后无人接听，拨打几次后，刘为民手机关机。

29日，刘永水与妻子来到北京市房山区大安山乡元港村杨春莲家中，发现家中房门锁着，敲门后无人开门，遂将此情况告知刘永志。

经讯问，犯罪嫌疑人刘为民初步交待：

2012年4月27日凌晨，刘为民在北京市房山区大安山乡元港村的家中睡醒后，想起与妻子杨春莲在生活中发生的矛盾。遂持家中的斧子及菜刀，将正在卧室睡觉的杨春莲砍死后逃跑。其将作案时的斧子及菜刀遗留在客厅内，作案过程中所穿裤子及鞋丢弃在屋内。随后乘坐公交车来到北京市房山区河北镇的工商银行，用卡取款13000元人民币后来到北京市区，居住在旅馆内直至被侦查员抓获。
