“翻译一哥”之称的“80后”小伙孙宁。他于1981年出生在南京，2003年8月，进入外交部翻译室工作，次年9月公派赴英国留学。自习近平就任国家主席以来，外访中的翻译基本由其担任。
此后，在习近平出访国外、或者会见外宾时，孙宁都是离习近平最近的人。比如，在2013年6月8日习近平出访美国时和2014年11月11日美国总统奥巴马访华时，孙宁都担任了随行翻译。

Sun Ning, a young man born in the 1980s, is known as the “first brother in translation”. He was born in Nanjing in 1981. In August 2003, he worked in the translation office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In September of the following year, he was sent to study in the UK. Since Xi Jinping became president of the country, he has basically acted as the interpreter during foreign visits.
Since then, when Xi Jinping visited abroad or met with foreign guests, Sun Ning was the person closest to the president. For example, Sun Ning served as an accompanying interpreter when Xi Jinping visited the United States on June 8, 2013, and when U.S. President Barack Obama visited China on November 11, 2014.

At the G20 Hangzhou Summit on September 4, 2016, the “mysterious figure” who stood obliquely behind Xi Jinping, obediently carrying a briefcase, and accompanied Xi Jinping to greet the leaders of various countries attending the meeting was none other than Sun Ning.
