The inside story of the Shanghai social security case was exposed: Huang Ju’s secretary Wang Weigong tipped off Chen Liangyu
Editor’s note: These are superficial contents, and the actual situation is not that simple. Huang Ju actually has a good relationship with Hu Jintao. Jiang Zemin, Zhu Rongji, and Hu Jintao are the Three Kingdoms, and the authorities are just confused.

Relevant personnel from the Jilin Provincial Anti-Corruption Bureau confirmed on the 10th that most of the 14 cases in the Shanghai social security series handed over to Jilin for investigation have entered the review and prosecution stage. Among them, Wang Weigong, vice president of Shanghai Shenergy Group, was suspected of tipping off Chen Liangyu.
It has been more than a year since the Shanghai social security case occurred, and it has been jointly investigated and investigated by three special teams from Shanghai, Anhui and Jilin. Among them, Jilin prosecutors filed 11 cases involving 14 people. These 14 people include Zhang Rongkun, the “key figure” in the social security case, Qin Yu, the former “Shanghai First Secretary” (Qin Yu is Chen Liangyu’s secretary), Wang Chengming, the former chairman of Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation, and other “heavyweight” figures.
Wang Weigong was demoted overtly and covertly after being tipped off
In July 2007, Wang Weigong, vice president of Shenergy Group, was arrested in connection with the Shanghai social security case.
Wang Weigong was originally the secretary of the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, and in 1994 he became the secretary of the main leader of the municipal party committee (Huang Ju). Since then, Wang Weigong has served as deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee General Office and deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee. After the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in the autumn of 2002, Wang Weigong was promoted to Beijing and served as secretary to a leader (Huang Ju) until he returned to Shanghai in early 2007 and directly joined Shenergy Group (Huang Ju died in June 2007). Within Shenergy Group, Wang Weigong serves as deputy general manager and is equipped with a full-time secretary, with “deputy office title and principal office treatment”.
According to sources, as the cases investigated by Jilin prosecutors enter the review and prosecution stage, most of the circumstances of the Shanghai social security case have become clear. However, the circumstances of Wang Weigong, who was arrested in July this year, have not yet been disclosed. However, it is reported that Wang Weigong used his previous position in Beijing to “inform” Chen Liangyu about the central government’s investigation of Chen Liangyu’s issues. Wang Weigong was suddenly transferred to the position of vice president of Shanghai Shenergy Group precisely because his behavior was discovered by the central government and the “overt and covert” measures were taken.
Wang Weigong confessed to more than 30 people involved in illegal activities
It is said that after Wang Weigong was arrested, he “explained” the illegal crimes of more than 30 people. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection should set up another task force specifically for this purpose to thoroughly investigate the relevant personnel involved.
