Beijing firefighting microblog 24-hour special personnel on duty, will call the police in case of alarm
News from our newspaper (Reporter Gao Jian) Yesterday, the fire department stated that after experiencing the “7.21” catastrophic natural disaster, the fire department will pay more attention to Weibo alarms. At present, 3 people have been arranged to work on duty 24 hours a day. “Weibo. When encountering a Weibo alarm, it will be transferred to the 119 command center as soon as possible, and the police will be dispatched as soon as possible. Yesterday, the “Beijing Fire” microblog was opened for one year, and the number of fans exceeded 1.5 million.
On the night of July 21, the 119 alarm call was always connected. Many people who could not dial the phone simply “called the police” on Weibo. The fire department responded to each Weibo in a timely manner and released the situation and progress of on-site rescue in real time. , relieved the anxiety of many people. On the second day after the rainstorm, firefighters answered a series of questions from netizens about the disaster on Weibo, in order to reduce the occurrence of tragedies by improving the public’s self-rescue and escape skills.
The netizen named “Qiyueya” is a new friend who became associated with “7.21” and “Beijing Fire Protection”. He recalled that around 7:10 p.m. that night, he saw someone post a Weibo request for help, saying that hundreds of students from the Qinglong Lake Junior Military Academy were trapped. Ten minutes later, the “Beijing Fire Protection” posted a Weibo message saying that it had sent an iron army to rescue. “Such a fast update speed shows the fire department’s responsible attitude towards the public, and it is a model of government microblogs.”
The fire department said that currently 3 people have been assigned to work in rotation and are on duty 24 hours a day at “Beijing Firefighting”. If there is an alarm on Weibo, it will be transferred to the 119 command center as soon as possible, and the police will be dispatched as soon as possible. At the same time, the fire department reminded that Weibo alarms must explain the following situations: the specific address and location of the disaster; if it is a fire, explain what is on fire, how the fire is, whether anyone is trapped, etc.; properties and burning conditions; to leave your name and phone number when calling the police, so that rescuers can contact.
In addition to accepting Weibo alarms in a timely manner, the firefighting Weibo will also interact with netizens in a timely manner in case of emergencies. On December 15 last year, a fire broke out in the Jiamao Shopping Center in Xicheng District. Because it was located in a busy road and the scene was relatively smoky, rumors arose on the Internet for a while. “Beijing Fire Protection” released the scene rescue photos immediately, “there are pictures and the truth”, so that the rumors were corrected and covered by authoritative information before negative public opinion was formed. In February of this year, a fire truck was robbed by social vehicles in Guijie Street. “Beijing Fire” continuously released pictures, videos and blog posts, and launched a vote. I have a deeper understanding of the special vehicles that save lives.
“What the common people want to know and what they need, we will announce and organize as soon as possible.” Xia Chunlei, director of the publicity department of the Municipal Fire Bureau, said.
So what do the public really want to know and what do they need through government microblogs? According to an online survey, netizens are mainly dissatisfied with the current government microblogs on three points: insufficient interaction and communication with the public, and insufficient feedback on comments; the amount of information is small, and there is a lack of government information that the public cares about and urgently understands; The ability to guide public opinion is still insufficient. In this regard, the person in charge of the Municipal Fire Bureau said that they will adopt these opinions to further improve “Beijing Fire Protection”.
news background
“Beijing Fire Protection” was launched a year ago, and has published more than 2,500 blog posts of various types, reposted more than 120,000 times, handled more than 9,000 complaints and reports from netizens, and answered questions. The number of its fans has exceeded 1.5 million.
“I pay close attention to firefighting Weibo almost every day.” Mr. Zhang, who is engaged in IT work, is a “loyal fan” (loyal fan) of “Beijing Firefighting”. The situation of firefighters dispatched to the police, on-site photos accompanied by brief explanations, makes people feel like they are there; “common sense of firefighting” is so useful, family fires, car fires, earthquake escape…every reminder can play a life-saving role; The “Equipment Construction” column will introduce the most advanced vehicles and equipment of the fire department, such as rail vehicles, radar life detectors, Arctic Cat four-wheel drive motorcycles, etc., which is an eye-opener. “Looking at the Weibo of firefighting, there are many contents and knowledge.”
CCTV: “Title Party” Destroys Social Order and Good Customs
China Review News Agency, Beijing, August 2: Once upon a time, the Internet was regarded as a stress reliever in real life. However, today when all kinds of hostile news headlines and all kinds of venting posts are flooding the Internet, the Internet has virtually become the fuse to detonate our irrational “anger”.
CCTV news, open the website, browse the news of major portal websites, or refresh Weibo, browse major community forums, and you will find that many news that are placed in prominent positions, or events with a lot of comments, often make people only After reading the title, there was “an unknown fire going up”. “Experts say seeing a doctor in China is not expensive”, “Weng’an officials say gangsters are raised by the government”, “We must allow moderate corruption in China”… These eye-catching headlines are enough to set off an Internet storm and detonate countless people. Netizens’ anger was followed by countless abusive replies.
This kind of sensational news headline is not an isolated case, but generally exists in every corner of the Internet. A few days ago, a survey of 11,394 people in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) across the country showed that 78.4% of the respondents believed that news with sensational headlines is common in the current media.
The spread of headline parties is inseparable from the simple pursuit of clicks by some websites. Under operating pressure, in order to maximize traffic, some websites do not hesitate to use exaggerated, erotic, bluffing, weird and other sensational techniques to make news headlines. In order to attract the audience’s attention and tempt the audience to click. There are even some online editors who distort the original meaning of the article and break away from the authenticity of the news, extracting bold and black “amazing” headlines, taking advantage of the audience’s prejudice and stereotypes, and turning an original Neutral reports or even positive reports distort the “condensation” into a headline that arouses “anger” among netizens, causing an uproar.
The reason why these “headline parties” can set off a storm on the Internet and exist on the Internet for a long time is inseparable from the reading habits of netizens and certain inherent social emotions. The Internet has greatly facilitated reading, but in the vast amount of information, people’s reading methods tend to be impetuous and fast.
According to the survey of ten thousand people by China Youth Daily, 20.1% of the interviewees usually only read the headlines and not the text when they read the news; 66.3% will quickly browse the text after reading the headlines; only 11.2% will read in detail text. In this kind of reading environment, netizens are easy to be led by the “nose” by the news headlines, identify the headlines that have distorted the news facts as the content that the news reports want to convey, and spread, spread, and magnify the distorted facts. The negative impact caused by the “headline party” has aroused the “anger” of more netizens, and turned the objective report that did not have contradictions and oppositions into a report event full of “conflicts” and “anger”. And the long-standing stereotypes formed by the public on certain issues have also become the main attack points of some “title parties”.
Some websites make a big fuss about words that are more sensitive to netizens, such as corruption, rich second generation, housing, medical care, etc., and refine titles that contain “conflict” and can arouse “anger” among netizens. This kind of title caters to certain stereotypes of the public , be able to spread rapidly on a large scale, and arouse certain social emotions of the public. In the process of communication, what is the truth is no longer important to the public, what is important is to be able to use it to express certain social emotions.
The existence of this hostile “headline party” not only seriously damages the dissemination of media news, violates the principle of authenticity of news, but also creates contradictions for no reason, damages the credibility of public opinion, and splits the public’s understanding of some industries and industries. Affection and trust between classes, and local officials.
Resolutely curbing hostile headlines and insisting on objective and truthful reporting and dissemination of news events should be the bottom line that all media practitioners and communicators should stick to. Netizens, as audiences and communicators in the self-media era, should also pay attention to news objectively and rationally, and identify news facts. Only by keeping the bottom line of authenticity can we avoid creating conflicts that do not exist, reduce unnecessary conflicts and cyber violence, increase the trust of the public, all walks of life and media officials, and jointly maintain the basic public order and good customs of society.
