记者问：决定最后是怎样做出的？
刘义才：对吴仪同志考察以后，考察小组是倾向于吴仪的，我也几次跟冯老谈了我的看法。冯老也倾向于吴仪。既然是个好干部，我们应该成全。考核小组一致认同吴仪同志。最后，吴仪同志顺利走上北京市的领导岗位(任副市长)，并且当选为中央候补委员。
