高级经济师、有“京城名嘴”、“硬汉”等称号的王岐山，夫人姚明珊，姚明珊的父亲，是曾任中共第十三届中央政治局常委、前国务院副总理姚依林。
1969年，王岐山中学毕业后，和大多数同龄人一样，加入到上山下乡运动中，来到陕西延安冯庄公社插队劳动；两年后，进入陕西省博物馆；1973年，以工农兵学员身份被推荐进入西北大学历史系学习。王岐山在延安知青插队劳动时期，他与同为北京知青的姚明珊相恋，后结为夫妇，姚明珊现已退休。

王岐山大学毕业后被分配到中国社会科学院，成为近代史研究所民国史室的一名青年学者。1982年，姚依林当选中共中央政治局候补委员、并进入中央书记处，国务院副总理，后又进入中共政治局常委；与此同时，王岐山被安排到中共中央书记处农村政策研究室工作。因为这次借调，促成了王岐山日后最终走上从政的道路。有媒体形容能言善道的王岐山赢得姚明珊芳心后，凭借自身才干与太子党色彩加持，声势扶摇直上。

姚依林（1917.9.6－1994.12.11），安徽省池州市贵池区人，曾用姚克广一名，是前中共中央政治局常委、国务院前副总理。
姚依林的两个女儿姚明珊、姚明端的丈夫分别是王岐山和孟学农，而王岐山又接任孟学农担任北京市长，在中国政坛是非常罕见的！不过，卸任北京市市长的孟学农却没有王岐山那样幸运。

孟学农，姚依林女儿姚明端的丈夫。1949年8月，孟学农出生山东蓬莱。1969年3月参加工作，1972年7月加入中国共产党，研究生学历，工学硕士。
2003年1月，担任中共北京市委副书记、市长的孟学农，在一场SARS风暴袭击包括北京在内的中国大地之际，因面对突如其来的非典措施不力，2003年4月20日，中共中央决定免去北京市委副书记、常委、委员职务（而且，接替孟学农担任北京市市长的正是他的连襟王岐山）。2008年01月，孟学农调任山西省委副书记、省长。2008年09月，又因山西省襄汾县“9.8”尾矿溃坝重大责任事故，被免去山西省委副书记、常委、委员职务，引咎辞去山西省省长职务。在中国人的眼里，一提到孟学农，许多人都为他感慨，他被称之为最倒霉的官员！

Yao Yilin (1917.9.6-1994.12.11), a native of Guichi District, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, formerly known as Yao Keguang, is a former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and former Vice Premier of the State Council.
The husbands of Yao Yilin’s two daughters, Yao Mingshan and Yao Mingduan, are Wang Qishan and Meng Xuenong respectively. Wang Qishan succeeded Meng Xuenong as the mayor of Beijing, which is very rare in Chinese politics! However, Meng Xuenong, who resigned as mayor of Beijing, was not as lucky as Wang Qishan.

Meng Xuenong, the husband of Yao Yilin’s daughter Yao Mingduan. In August 1949, Meng Xuenong was born in Penglai, Shandong. He started working in March 1969 and joined the Communist Party of China in July 1972. He has a postgraduate degree and a master’s degree in engineering.
