黄菊任第七届上海市委书记
1997年12月25日中共上海市第七届委员会第一次全会任黄菊为市委书记，徐匡迪、王力平、陈良宇、孟建柱、龚学平为市委副书记，罗世谦、金炳华、张惠新、王文惠、蒋以任、韩正、刘云耕任市委常委。全会批准由市纪律检查委员会第一次全体会议产生的市纪委书记张惠新，副书记洪林珍、沈红光、何卫国。

Huang Ju appointed as Secretary of the 7th Shanghai Municipal Party Committee
On December 25, 1997, the First Plenary Session of the Seventh Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China appointed Huang Ju as Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Xu Kuangdi, Wang Liping, Chen Liangyu, Meng Jianzhu, and Gong Xueping as Deputy Secretaries of the Municipal Party Committee, Luo Shiqian, Jin Binghua, Zhang Huixin, Wang Wenhui, Jiang Yiren, Han Zheng, Liu Yungeng is appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee. The plenary session approved Zhang Huixin, secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Hong Linzhen, Shen Hongguang, and He Weiguo, deputy secretaries, who were elected at the first plenary meeting of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection.
